Feedback and Coaching - do they really go together? Yes!

Here's one of the biggest pitfalls I see leaders fall into - they finally have the feedback conversation (if they have it at all!), and then just... expect things to change. Spoiler: they don't.

And honestly? Most of us avoid the conversation until it's spiraled into something really hard to come back from. Then it feels even more uncomfortable, so we avoid it longer. You can see where this is going.

Change is hard. If it wasn't, we'd live in a world full of fit, healthy, thriving people. But it is hard, which is why giving feedback is one of the most common things leaders come to my Coaching Programs wanting to get better at.

Here's what I know - feedback on its own isn't enough. The magic happens when you can move from the feedback straight into coaching in the same conversation. That's where real change starts.

If you are a progressive leader who would like to learn the skills of leading solution focus coaching conversations, but your organisation isn’t ready to host a workshop, join our online workshop! 

This program will be held at Ultimo at the offices of NSW PPA. It is facilitated over 2 days.
