How it Works
Each Leadership Mastermind has a maximum of 10 participants so the learning can be individualised and focused. There will be 6 group sessions and 1 individual debrief session of your feedback tool of choice.
Six group coaching sessions will be held online once a month for 1.5 hour sessions over six months.
Pre-Program Set Up
- You will choose a feedback tool and will be allocated a Leadership Mastermind group based on the tool you choose.
- You can choose between the Life Styles Inventory and the Global Leadership Wellbeing Survey.
- Exploring your leadership behaviours - The Life Styles Inventory helps you to be aware of how you think you are behaving as compared to how others experience you. This is a 360-degree feedback tool that builds your awareness on your current leadership behaviours and the impact on others.
- Exploring your own Wellbeing so you can fully thrive and flourish and help others do this too. The Global Leadership Wellbeing Survey is a self-awareness tool about your current wellbeing. It helps you to understand what fully flourishing at work and outside of work looks like and how close to the ideal you are currently.
- We will set up a group What’s App so you can have on call support in between group coaching sessions.
Session 1 – Leadership Mastermind set up session.
In this session you will get to meet Annette Gray your group coach, your Leadership Mastermind group and be provided an overview on how the group will operate (including confidentiality) and an overview of the feedback tool your group will be focused on.
Individual debrief session of your results – 1 hour
With Annette Gray you will be provided a 1 hour confidential debrief of your feedback tool results and possible areas you will focus on that will help take your leadership and enjoyment to a whole new level.
Session 2 – 5 – Leadership Mastermind – your area of focus
Based on receiving your individual debrief you will decide where you will focus and create a mini project that you can have fellow master minders support you on and keep you accountable for.
During these 1.5-hour group coaching sessions that are held once a month you will get the opportunity for two hot seat sessions where Annette will coach you on any area of choice that relates to your leadership effectiveness or your wellbeing, your behaviours and your project. As well your fellow master minders can be like your brains trust to provide their insights on what they have done in similar situations.
Session 6 – Signs of progress celebration session
In this final session it is all about celebrating your progress. Each master minder will present what signs of progress you have made over the 6 months and we will all celebrate with you! Often, we forget about reflecting on where we have come from and often change happens without being noticed. We will also look at where to next and what your area of focus will be afterwards.
Meet your facilitator
30 years of experience as a coach, facilitator, leader and mentor
After 30 years of facilitating adult learning and over 22 years of coaching and mentoring, I know what works to lead with a positive impact.
The value of great leadership really became apparent to me when I worked for someone who I realised was the best role model of how to lead. By asking for and respecting input, by collaborating rather than directing, and by supporting not controlling, my strengths were acknowledged, nurtured and enhanced. I felt stretched, positively challenged and fulfilled – and I performed at my best.
Discovering the concept of ‘solution focus’ 12 years ago has had a strong influence on how I view the world, how I coach people and how I train people to be coach-like. The essence is that for people to change, it’s not about understanding the problem they present with, it’s about finding out when the problem happens less, what it is they want instead of the problem, and what previous success they can draw on to deal with the problem. Talking about solutions helps to create solutions.
My passion is to continue to create great leaders and mentors, who really know how to do their role well, which in turn will create thriving workplaces. I believe we’re in a time of real transition – working from home is a gamechanger – and we need a different style of leadership for the future. Progressive companies are realising that, to retain employees, they need to upskill their leaders and mentors. Now is the time to take the opportunity to do ‘work’ differently and to be open and respectful.
